You know how people always struggle with finding the time and energy to change their bodies? Or maybe they do have the time and energy, but they just don't know what to do? Well what I do is teach people how to get in the best shape of their lives without wasting a lot of time and energy.

You don’t need to live at the gym to be in good shape. You don’t need to do hours of painful, strenuous exercise to be toned and fit. It all comes down to what habits you have. My JAG Fit Personal Training Program makes it easy to change your body. JAG Fit is based on gradually getting yourself into healthy habits. It’s perfect for people who want to take control of their own health and fitness but don’t know how to get started or for people whose current fitness program doesn’t work for them anymore.

The full JAG Fit personal training program lasts three months. In addition to meeting for up to three workouts per week, we'll meet once a week for a check in and consultation. The first month of your program, The Foundation, is when I'll give you simple exercises to do at home based on what we've done at each of your consultation sessions. At the same time, you will be learning what I call the Pillars of Healthy Living: To be in good shape, you have to eat smart and drink enough water, you need to stretch a little, exert some force and relax a little. Most people go right into dieting and/or strenuous exercise but don't bother having a lifestyle that promotes having a fit body, so they don't see the results that they could be seeing. The Foundation establishes a solid eating plan, a good habit of drinking water, good sleeping patterns, proper body mechanics and powerful breath technique. During this first month we will work closely together to lay a foundation in your life to support long term changes in your body and sustained health and fitness.

The second month of your JAG Fit program is The Mastery Phase. After The Foundation is in place, we'll start training you to become a master of your own body. It's not as complicated as it sounds, so stay with me. Using techniques such as the Five Stages of Human Development and Self Healing, Body Awareness exercises, self assessment, Journey Through the Body, and Yoga Tune UpĀ® sessions, we begin to focus on understanding of your body and optimizing its function. In each session, we'll discover and address muscle imbalances, tightnesses and weaknesses basically tuning up your body and using the energy you've created from the first month to maximize your strength, gracefulness and integration.

Phase three, the third month of the JAG Fit program, is the Alchemy Phase. It is the most important month of your training. Now that you're a Master of your body and your Foundation is well established, we give you a direction. While working together for the previous two months, I've gotten a clear picture of what you want to achieve so I'll get you pointed in the right direction and teach you what you need to do to achieve your goals. There are usually about four different things people want to accomplish: to lose weight, to gain muscle, to get toned or to excel in a certain sport or activity like a yoga practice. In this phase, everyone's situation is very different but I will give you specific exercises, stretches, relaxation techniques and simple dietary habits to get into to move yourself in the direction you want your body to go. And we’ll work together so that you can eventually do it all on your own. I'll also teach you about periodization, which utilizes our bodies natural rhythms of recovery to maximize your return on your exercise and energy investment.

JAG Fit is based on enjoying life and of its pleasures. All of my techniques are designed to make you feel better, stronger and more energetic. JAG Fit is appropriate for all body types and anyone. Most people notice more energy by their second session and start to see physical changes during the first month. After your three month program, you can continue working with me or work on your own. Once you achieve the body of your dreams, all you have to do is maintain it. Establishing the patterns of creating that change is the hard part. We do that together. After the hard work is done, a maintenance program is easy to make a part of your daily life.

In addition to the frequent meetings and classes, we will also be in constant email support. It will feel like we're working side by side for three whole months, while you establish all of the necessary habits for having a fit and healthy body and life.
